The Metal Jackets are incredibly dedicated and passionate about expanding access to STEM learning and robotics for all people—regardless of geography, socioeconomic barriers, or any other circumstance that might limit opportunity. Our team believes deeply that STEM education is a universal right, and we work every day to ensure that students everywhere can discover their potential through hands‑on engineering, problem‑solving, and innovation.
Our mission reaches far beyond our local community, our state, and even our nation. The Metal Jackets have already formed meaningful international partnerships with schools in South America, where we have collaborated to introduce robotics, share technical training, provide materials, and support the development of sustainable STEM programs. These partnerships are long‑term commitments to helping schools build lasting robotics opportunities for their students.
Our team works closely in collaboration with our school district and the Participate Prince William initiative our school division has. This initiative brings teachers from other countries to Virginia to experience American schools and gain strategies to use back in their home countries. We have continuously worked with teachers who have taken part in this program, and the Metal Jackets will continue to use this amazing resource to spread STEM!
And this is only the beginning. The Metal Jackets will continue expanding our global outreach, strengthening connections across continents, and ensuring that every student—no matter where they live—has the chance to learn, build, create, and compete. Through these efforts, we strive to inspire a generation of global STEM leaders and demonstrate the powerful impact that robotics education can have on communities worldwide.
