Our most recent expansion of Robótica Para Todos (RPT) has brought us to the Dominican Republic, where we partnered with a local school that had never before had access to robotics technology. Through this initiative, we provided EV3 LEGO Mindstorms kits and worked with teachers to integrate robotics directly into their elective technology class, marking a transformative step in their curriculum and giving students hands‑on STEM experiences for the first time.

This chapter of RPT was made possible through the strong personal connections of our team members, who helped build trust, open doors, and create a foundation for long‑term collaboration. One of our members even visited the school in person, spending time teaching, demonstrating the EV3 kits, and helping the staff feel confident in launching the program. That in‑person support created an immediate boost in excitement and understanding for both teachers and students—it accelerated their learning, strengthened the partnership, and ensured successful implementation.

We continue to support the Dominican Republic chapter remotely by sharing virtual lesson plans, instructional videos, and ongoing guidance as the class grows more advanced. With each step, students are gaining skills, confidence, and curiosity—evidence that even a small investment in access and mentorship can spark meaningful educational transformation.
