Our Robótica Para Todos (RPT)—Robotics for Everyone—initiative began in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where we partnered with two schools: Unidad Educativa Santistevan and Unidad Educativa Marillac. Working alongside Northern Virginia FLL teams, we shipped approximately 15 LEGO EV3 Mindstorms kits to students and administrators, giving them the tools they needed to begin hands‑on robotics education.
Our bilingual team members met directly with students, staff, and school leadership to help build a sustainable program—collaboratively developing curriculum, training teachers, and hosting sessions to introduce core robotics concepts. What makes this effort even more meaningful is that the teams formed through RPT became the first-ever FLL teams in their region, opening the door for local students to participate in competitive STEM for the very first time.
This initiative marked the start of our global outreach, and it continues to grow as we work to expand robotics access to more communities around the world.
